Some Speakers are specially designed only for Computers.While other speakers can be hooked up to any type of Sound System.Main purpose of speakers is basically to produce audio Output that can be heard by the listener..

Web camera(Webcam)

Question : What is a Webcam? How and Why it is used?
"A Webcam is a computer external input hardware device that captures the video image or scene from its front and allows the image to view on the internet by other users.A webcam is essentially a camera connected to the Computer".
Webcams ore commonly used by the parents, housewives, Children who want to show the visual scene of what is going home.This is used in video calling on internet which shows other users the scene of the front of the webcam that it captures.
Webcam works by capturing the series of digital images.After capturing these images were transferred to a server on the internet and then displayed to the hosting page.Webcams differ on the bases of capabilities and features.
It is now used in offices, homes, streets, transport services and other small things like pen for Security reason.They provided so much security. Webcams that are used in these places having the feature of recording.Everything happened in the shops or streets is recorded and can be reviewed when needed.

Computer Microphone(Mic)

Question : What are Computer Microphones(Mic)? Why it is used?
"Computer Microphones are the computer's external hardware devices that enables a computer to access sound signal from an external source like speech or music.They are used in transmitting sound from external side to Computer."
The Computer microphones are used for recording the music or other useful speeches.They can also be used for talking to the Computer.Microphones are very helpful in making voice calls through the internet.

Headsets : 
Headset microphones are the microphones that are attached to the Headsets.Through these the user can hear audio output from the computer as well as microphone that the user can use to create audio input.
Stand Alone : 
Stand Alone Microphones having straight tend style to the user's desk to produce a high quality sound.They have a large stand with base to stand on user's desk.
Webcam Microphones : 
This type of microphones are attached in the webcam.Some webcams have microphones with them.These microphones are also applicable to recording, voice and video calling.
 Integrated Microphones : 
Integrated microphones can also be called as built-in microphones.For example some computers, laptops and notebooks have a built-in microphone for voice and video calling.

Computer Scanners

Question : What is Computer Scanner?How it Works and What are its types?
"An external Computer  hardware a Computer Scanner is a device that capture's images from some paper for the Computer editing and display."
"A Computer Scanner is a device that scans the documents like photographs, images and  pages of text.Which can be displayed and edited on the Computer."
 The scanners usually captures images from photographic prints, posters, magazines and other sources.Scanners usually attached physically or externally to your computer with a Small Computer System Interface(SCSI).It's purpose is converting a real document to a digital image.
Types of Scanners
Usually scanners have four different types as explained below
  • Flatbed Scanners ( Optical Scanner)
  •  Sheet-Fed Scanners
  • Drum Scanners
  • Portable Scanners
Flatbed Scanners ( Optical Scanner) : 
Flatbed Scanners are most commonly used scanners for home and office use.These are often abbreviated to just scanner which optically converts images, printing text, handwriting to digital image.
Sheet-Fed Scanners :
 Sheet-Fed Scanner is the type of scanner in which only one page at a time can be processed or scanned rather than multiple pages.This type of scanners are not useful for books but only for single sheets. 
Drum Scanners : 
Drum Scanners are usually used to capturing a picture and producing very high resolution rate of that picture into the Computer.It is considered as a tremendous upgrade of a regular Flatbed Scanner.
Portable Scanners :
Portable scanners are only designed for the situation when you are in any emergency or about to go somewhere.These Scanners are powered by batteries and once you scan the text and anything other, this can be stored on the portable scanner.After reaching home you can transfer it to your computer. Transferring is don by using a cable for connecting to the computer.

Printers

Question : What is a Printer?What are its Types? 
"Printer is the Computer External Hardware device which allows a user to print the items on the paper.Such as text images or other data information.It accepts graphics and text from the computer and transfer the information to the Paper."
Printers are Externally connected to the computer.Computer Printers are usually made for printing data from the Computers.Computer printers usually use papers for printing.Different types of Printers use different sheets of papers.
Types of Printers
Printers have commonly two types i.e Impact Printers and non-Impact Printers.
 Impact Printers creates the image by using some mechanism to physically press the inked ribbon against page causing the ink to be deposited on the page.
Non-Impact Printers creates the image on the paper without pressing any of the inked ribbon or touching to any page.

Computer Mouse

Question : What is a Computer Mouse? Why and How it is used?
"The Computer Mouse is an input device.With the click of the mouse button, the mouse sends information to the Computer."
Types of Mouse
There are four types of mice have been detected yet as follows : 
  • Traditional Mouse
  • Optical Mouse
  • Wireless Mouse
  • Laptop Mouse
  1.   Traditional Mouse
             These type of mice have a ball at the bottom.They connected to the computer through a wire.  
     2.    Optical Mouse
            
             These mice contains a laser at the bottom instead of a ball.These mice also connected to the computer through a wire.
     3.    Wireless Mouse

             These type of mice are such like optical mice but they have only one difference that they don't need any wire to connect to the Computer.They always uses infrared rays to connect to the computer.
   4.    Laptop Mouse

            Laptop mouse is a different type of mouse.This mouse can also be called built-in mouse because it looks like a touch pad on the Laptop.

Question : What is Keyboard?  Define Keyboard? Why it is used?
"An External Computer hardware, a Keyboard is the set of typewriter style device that enables you to enter data into a Computer.Computer Keyboard are mostly similar to typewriter with arrangement of some additional keys."
Keys on the Computer keyboard are often classified as :
  • Alphanumeric Keys(Letters and Numbers)
  • Punctuation Keys(Comma, Period, Semicolon etc...)
  • Special keys(Function Keys,Control Keys,Arrow Keys,Caps Lock Key etc...)
An original Computer Keyboard Contains 84 Keys.
